John, What do you take me for as ex RAF! You might have to take the official line but your assessment of my TX is incorrect all that is wrong with it is crossed up settings. After reading the handbook in greater detail I have managed to get it to work correctly with my Plane and I have not had to re-bind them!!

Thank you
Ernie

Ernie - I am confused - when you last trained I understand you buddied with the Clubs DX 6e transmitter ( no buddy lead) - was your transmitter the MASTER or the SLAVE ?
Thanks
Colin.

Ernie - Since your tx was the MASTER was a buddy lead being used with one of the club's older txs being the SLAVE ( ie not wireless ) ?

Thanks
Colin.

Colin originally my TX was set up by Mike Searle to work to one of the clubs older TX"s Both as mode 2. This always works well until a member wanted to train me with him using Mode 1 on my TX as master and me using Mode 2 on the same club slave. thats when it went to pot!

Ernie - Assuming your TX was set back to Mode 2 correctly there should no longer be a problem since the Club have dedicated Mode 2 & Mode 1 Spectrum DX6e
wireless transmitters for training purposes.
I fly Mode 1 & would name & set up your model in the master TX model memory then bind it to your model.
You would then bind your own TX to the receiver in the Master transmitter & away we go - no buddy lead.
Having read the other postings it would appear that there is a problem when a Buddy Lead is plugged into your transmitter,
- that needs resolving.

Regards
Colin.
