I would like to add, for what it's worth, I now make a point of making sure I leave my phone, (which I purchased 3 months ago) in the car. I have had all the control issues since I purchased this particular phone.B)

Re comments on phone proximity - Those of us with 35mhz history were always cautious carrying phones into the pits, but with 2.4 ghz, phone proximity as we know is possible but highly unlikely. (consider an event like the nationals where there might be up to 100 R/C systems and thousands of mobile phones active without issue )

If failsafes are correctly set, any loss in data comms should activate failsafe mode but the reports dont support this option. So remaining options could be the pilot or auto stab system not responding to extreme turbulence or a system failure downstream from the Rx RF circuit such as a faulty servo lead.
