Many thanks for all responses, need to sit down and work out what would be best. Interesting point concerning overall weight and useage in stronger winds which as you say will favour a heavier servo but other than this, no other reasons.

Sounds like Corona may not favourite, will look into futaba, Savox and Hitec.

Tom - If you " Google " Woody's Servo Page - you will find a simple list of servos compiled by David Homewood.
List gives specs on 140 servos, although a few years out of date it's a good starting point.
In my smaller models I have used EMAX - 12g servos - ES08MA - metal geared - have been fine in my E-flite Mini Funtana -43 in span & weighing 2 Ib - wing loading only 10.5 ozs per sq ft - but copes fine with wind up to about 12 m.p.h.
The servos are good value from Giant Shark or BRC Hobbies.
