Ok I have a electric version of this already and absolutely love it. I've seen this on eBay. Looking at description it looks like it's not been flown and requires some attention on the retracts ! Etc etc. Winter coming and this might be worth a bash. Would anyone be willing to help me out on the repairs ? Any costs covered by me of course but just need someone's time and expertise.

If you get a successful bid I'm sure you'll get plenty of help setting it up. I'm bot too far from you and can help if you don't get a closer offer.

I have had a browse on Ebay. Looks like a Black Horse model PC9. ARf is about £300 to buy complete with retracts and sprung oleos. Factor in 8 servos worth £100 plus an engine at £180. Layout would've been 500 smackers.

Fitted with JR NES591 servos so 5v volt system. Has not cleared reserve yet but if you get it for £180ish then a real bargain. (but no more though as this a blind purchase). Going by the pictures there seems to be some repairs done just behind the nose gear doors and also marks or something on the lower cowl too. Wondering if it has had a nose leg issue and landed badly. Or just bad hangar rash. FWIW, I would have a go for a decent price as a project.

Why he has put it on Ebay rather than the BMFA? Maybe not a registered flyer?

Lee - Not sure how eBay works, but it's advertised as collection only.
So does this mean, if not happy, no pay & drive away ?

Hi,
Thanks for your message.
I'm hoping to get around the £180 mark for everything as this is more or less what it has cost me with buying the plane, engine, new cockpit, servos, leads and bits and pieces I've needed so far.
Basically I bought the plane from a lad who bought it as his first RC plane and didn't have a clue what he was doing and eventually gave it up as a bad job and sold it on. He had ailerons and flaps mixed up, the cowling was on upside down, he has messed up the retracts (which I don't know what to do with). It was basically too big a beast for him.
I also have too many planes and need to make a bit of room so it has to go.
If this is around the figure you had in mind let me know and I'll be happy to end the auction. Cash on collection would be fine - that way I'd save on eBay and PayPal fees.
Cheers
Larry
