That's going to look stunning!

Good thing that the black is underneath though. I've only done one black model (my original Cirrus in 1975) and I swore I'd never do another that 'colour'- not in film anyway. Soaks up sunshine and goes all Slack Alice. So don't fly upside down for too long Jon! Though, for you, that's a rather silly bit of advice since at least half of your aviation is invariably done inverted.

I thought of the black issue, but It was originally black on the bottom and was fine. I think it is only a problem when sitting on the ground in sun for a while, we will see!

Had a good afternoon on it, bottom of the wings and tail done, New black doesn't half show the finger prints!

I don't want to do the fuselage underside yet as it needs the yellow on first, so will have to be patient :(

Now a health and safety message from your safety officer!

When covering, it's important to keep changing the blades in your scalpel as they blunt really quickly cutting the covering. Unfortunately the downside is that if you accidentally knock your scalpel off the bench it will really easily stab you in the top of the foot right through your trainer. :(

3/4 in of blood stain on the blade, bled like a b**tard!!

Sorry to hear you have taken up "self harming"
- Didn't you once let your child "test" the sharpness of a scalpel blade !

:( :( Well that's me done for! However, if you need any help matching your cowl respray colour only happy too.

Just hope that your RC Colours are a better match than mine were. Of course quoting Chris, "it don't matter, no-one is going to see any mismatches when it is in the air"
