I tried to use my moderating powers to change the title back because I think 99% of us preferred the original title. Unfortunately we appear to be living under a dictatorship and only Kim Jon Ford can change titles.

Turned up today a replacement for a previously incorrect supplied 64m edf unit. This is the right one this time and a freebie. 12 blade fan unit for 4 cells. As the Sabre is no more it will go into the base line Stinger (due 25th July) as an upgrade.

These things continue to be great fun with a gaggle up trying to stay in a tight group and with some people (DAVE ROGERS) trying to take everyone out, the chances of remaining in one piece can become slim.
I must have missed a step when assembling mine (or the Chinese did) because I literally flew a wing off it at the weekend. I did yank and bank to try and 'avoid' Dave and instead, my wing folded. Fortunately, damage isn't too bad, but you can see on both wings, the carbon rods have not been glued in.

So, if it was a step I missed, more fool me. If it's something none of you have done, check them! :-)

I had the same problem but kept quiet because I didn't want to alarm anybody. I blame Mr Foo at the Kinn glue factory.

Don't blame Chow Fung. It was not a glue issue where the wing broke. Collision damage or excessive high G. So sorry no warranty. You should all take out extra insurance to cover you when Big Dave is in the vicinty.

It was a lack of glue Phil. Had the carbon tube been glued, the foam wouldn’t have had to handle the stress of potential high G all on its own! So, could still be our Chinese friends’ fault! :-)
