Pete {back to your thread}, the chap I bought the model from is sending me a complete scale set of all the RAF markings and notices for the model in .pdf format (and there are an awful lot). If you are "not" going "miss demeanor" or Swiss colour scheme; would you be interested in a vinyl set (maybe sourced from a friendly local printer chap)?

Hi Pete,

I just had a quick look back through the thread, but if I missed it sorry...

What is the wing span and expected weight of your Hunter, the interloper's has a wing span of 1730mm (68”) and weighs between 12-13Kg.

That is looking really great Pete. Even better when stood on it's own legs. ;) How long before the turbine and ancillaries turn up?

She will be on her pins tomorrow Phil. The Turbine is on order should have it in a couple weeks. Can't decide which PowerBox to use as I want to use gyros of some sorts. As for the tailpipe it's not a stock item as it is 900 mm long so that is being made at a sheet metal company.

Should have the underside finished tomorrow try and get some pics up.
The die hard Hunter fans will raise an eyebrow but I think it's stunning B)
I've named the Hunter after my grand daughter Elea Darcie

Pete, you could go:
1) Power box competition + Igyro SRS + separate sequencer (this is what I have in the hawk)
2)Power box cockpit + Igyro SRS
3) The new Power box Mercury.
The Merc has built in gyro, gps controlled gain and built in sequencer. Seems a great option and for about the same price as a PB competition +igyro but it's all in one and with a sequencer and servo matching. Had it been available at the time, I think I would have opted for this.

We'll have to discuss as it could directly impact the Venom ;)

Weather not great for painting but found a window today and got her done.
The cammo on top is finished just need to cut back the underneath red and white later in the week when the paint has hardened.
If you are wondering why the Castrol decals!!
Many ex Swiss army hunters are now privately owned with expensive running costs so Castrol supply all the lubricants needed to keep this particular full size flying.
