Wing ribs, full length shear Web, false leading edge and servo supports are released from the cnc cut sheet. The construction of the wings are very different from the norm. The cnc cutting is so accurate the wing is constructed with interlocking tabs and the picture shows the wing fully constructed, and not one drop of glue used yet. Once you are happy with everything flood all the joints with med cyano and job done. The same is done for the other panel and both ready to. Glue top and bottom 9mm sq spruce spars.

Tail plane and rudder parts are lazer cut so before gluing the burnt edges need sanding.
Total build time so far is 8.5 hrs. That's enough for me for today so time for a beer

Pete - Wing construction most interesting, amazing how it all clips together - just add cyno, job done.
One question, since the turbine exhausts under the fuselage, how is it protected from the heat during ground running.
Thanks
Colin.

Great progress Pete.

Colin, the turbine is set at 16 degrees pointing downwards, so the nozzle is well away from the fuzz bottom
