Ok then chap's onto the tail plane.This is built upside down so to give slight dihedral also the hurricane had a fabric covered tail plane so after it had been sheeted you will see i have added 1/16 capping pieces to give the impression of an open structure

Elevators next,very simple construction 3/16 core with riblets glued top and bottom 3/8 leading edge and soft 1/2 for the tips.Carve to shape with balsa plane and then a good sand job done add trim tab detail

So after just over 100 hours that is where the hurri stands at the moment.Not much going to happen till after xmas as i have bought my grandson his first hornby train set and will be making a layout for it to go on .
