You have certainly done some time consuming work. I believe you need to have certain mind set before you start a major fiddle-ass job. so easy to say "can't be arsed". Well done Jon.

Finally, I added lots of balsa triangular stock to reinforce.

Just need to fuel proof and this is now finished, next job is to strip the bottom covering off and check that all if the other joints are secure and to add glue or reinforcement as necessary, then on to the wings.

I will try to keep updating as I go from now on.

Nice work Jon. Do you think that drawing up new formers in CAD and getting parts CNC cut would have been a reasonable alternative to hand cutting? We must have some CAD experts in the club.

What's your plan for the wing repairs? I'm guessing that the wing tube damage extends to all the associated internal ribs.
