Is there not one of those launching devices hanging up in the hut? :sick:
My weight is now 410 gram for the complete airframe and 380 gram for the hardware, 790 gram in total. :unsure:

Phil, unless your airframe weight includes the two servos its a bit porky. Mine is 380 grams including the servos.

But the rest of my hardware is heavier than yours, what battery are you using? Mine is only a 30C 2100 3S-1P Kokam but it weighs 210 gram.

Perhaps, just like me, it put on weight over Christmas.

410 includes servos, ailerons, fins horns. H/W is 2200 LiPo, motor, controller, prop collett, reciever, all plugs and sockets soldered. Bat weighs 185 gram. Overlander 30 C.

Mike - I've used the masking tape method on a number of models with no problems.
The servo usually goes either into a balsa box or cut out in a foam cored wing, the servo
is a tight fit and once the glue sets it will not move.
I used this method on a 2.7 m scale glider for fixing the flap & aileron servos into a foam cored wing
and four years later they are still firmly attached.
