FrSKY Taranis X9E was created by Brian
If anyone with a Taranis X9E wants to convert the gimbals to the M9 Hall Effect type, I have a pair of adapter rings to enable the M9 gimbal to fit the X9E case. Let me know and I'll get them to you. They are FOC as I no longer need them.

I'm sure that either Chris or I will take them off your hands. Chris already has M9 gimbals installed but did not use adapter plates. I'll switch to M9 gimbals at some time in the future.

Hi Brian, could you let me know where you got the adaptor rings from? Many thanks, Chris

'Morning Chris, the item is made by RC Studio in Czechoslovakia. their web page is www.rcstudio.cz . Its only now that I realised I should have put out a notice about buying the spacers. Would have saved lots of postage.
