Kevin requests

If somebody provides me with a diementioned drawing

Is this a new word for an illustrated obituary?

I don't think that either of you will get packing rings now, better stick with your old fashioned R/C gear.

Thanks Kevin, I'll hope to have a drawing for you later in the week, and you can see if it's doable.

All the best, Chris

Improved "suspension" arms. They don't fold, but they do fit inside the carry case.

Hi Brian,

Where did you get the arms I was looking to modify a transmitter mitt for the X9E and a set of these would be just the ticket.

Would also be interested to know how you attached them to the X9E, although I don't have an issue with the current ones, but did have to change the strap, the clips were just too small with cold fingers on top of a hill with snow coming at me ;)

If JRI reads this he'll probably link to this video:

Chris they are Horus neck strap supports from T9HobbySport. I retained the main alloy channel, and two clamp plates from the original build. The alloy channel has to be drilled 6mm dia. to accept the fatter arms. Much easier to "hook on". I didn't know whether to publish this, I didn't want to upset "Trig", or his broom.

Oops! The new arms fitted into the position of the original support arms doesn't work all that well. The arms are well over to each side of the X9E case and get in the way of the backs of my hands. I expect its because I'm a stick pincher, only because the other method of control is "thumb-thing" I never managed all that well.
