**Excitement Soars at BFFA Fun Fly Event at Cashmoor!**
What an incredible weekend we had at Cashmoor for the BFFA Fun Fly event on July 13th and 14th! This fun-filled fly fest welcomed enthusiasts of all levels to compete just for the sheer joy of it. And boy, did Mother Nature smile upon us! With light winds from the southwest, we enjoyed favorable flying conditions throughout the event.
**A Tale of Two Days**
Saturday brought a mix of grey skies and sunny spells, keeping us on our toes. Despite the changing weather, it was the most attended day, buzzing with energy and excitement. Sunday, however, treated us to almost unbroken sunshine, creating the perfect backdrop for a day of fantastic flying. Both days saw impressive turnouts, allowing all the rounds to be completed smoothly.
**Fun-Filled Competitions**
Our lineup of events included Climb n Glide, Roop (Roll n Loop), Touch and Go Bang (Balloon Popping), and Spins and Spot. Even those without a Fun Fly model had the chance to take to the skies, thanks to the generosity of Chris Morris. Chris kindly allowed competitors to fly his model and provided a buddy box for those still honing their skills. Amazingly, Chris' Fun Fly model weathered the entire weekend with only minor repairs and a few tweaks to the landing gear!

A special round of applause goes to our junior member, Tom Foottit, who soared to an impressive 6th place overall on Day 2 in his very first competition. Way to go, Tom!
