Unfortunately, the wing has developed a 3 Deg warp between the tips but 2 days after removal of the top skin, the structure has relaxed to within 0.8deg. I hope careful replacement using there clamps should produce a good result.
Many thanks to Flying Pete for offering to help but i like a challenge. (i think)

made a start on the fwd canopy reinforcement frame by laminating 6 layers x 0.5mm cross ply on a frame inside the canopy

frame trimmed to size then cut part way thru from the back

Then when its fixed, I can use this slit as a guide to separate the fixed and sliding section

Getting close to the final fit of the canopy - With the moulding held in place with masking tape and a bungee lightly pulling the canopy onto the coaming i've pulled an abrasive strip back and forth

I like the abrasive strip trick, very neat Kevin. Is that original Ross thinking or something I should have known about?

The abrasive strip was my idea - the elastic bungee was Mrs R's response to my offer of a canopy securing apprentice !
