Unfortunately Jon you are correct The C of G will move back with L/G retracted. However Its per the book with gear down and the seller claims the model flies well. Its already got ITRO 1 kg of ballast up front. My thoughts are that its critical on landing but any rearward shift with gear retract should be manageable at speed.JonTappin wrote: That looks lovely Kevin!
You should check to cg when it's at its rear most position, if the gear goes backwards when retracted, then the rear most position would be with gear up if I understand you correctly.

[rant mode =ON]I made a plea for the pedants to stop picking up on typos. Can I make an additional plea that if you are going to act as the grammar police that you do not start your post with "before DT gets in". This is not a competition to be the first. If people insist on continuing to do this please can you start your own thread where you can moderate it yourselves and keep your own scorecards. As a moderator, I'm getting fed up having to read the same comments over and over [rant mode =OFF]Phil-C wrote: Before DT gets in, it's cloned not clowned, or was it intentional?
