I saw Jon's mod Phil, very short control run with servo in the fin, nice positive action. Downside is that the model needs a big LiPo to bring the C of G forward to compensate for the weight of the servo. I think there might be a good chance that with a tighter tuning circle and minimum loss of height, you might find the MIG on your six before you know it Phil.(Tagga-Tagga-Tagga) Been wanting to do that since BoB 1969!

 I think he dictates to his secretary, who then types up from the shorthand whilst he is meddling with the mechanical bits. Or he is using Google Voice to Text?

I've been flying the Mig on 1300mAh 3S batteries, only short 3minute flights. Freewing recommend 1600mAh 3S, but I only have1300 and 2200. I wondered about trying a 2200 3S but it needs more space to be able to get the battery in and out easily. I had another look at the Petrincic brothers video of the MIG-15 test flight. They have made a new video, the original showed "Cheat Holes" to improve performance, but the new video shows an unmodified model, initially failing to fly on a 1600mAh LiPo, and then going very well indeed on a 2700 3S LiPo. Perhaps it might be worth trying to fit a 2200mAh 3S after all.
