Mother in law has only been here 5 minutes, doing my head in so it's out to the workshop for a mig fix Started the tricky job of the three main gear doors. First up is the inner main gear door which is hinged using a kavan flat hinge recessed in and the mount is held in with 4 panel screws. The door will then be fitted to the ole using ball links to open and shut the door. Middle door will be glued to the main oleo on a shaped bass wood shim and the inner doors use cranked offset hinges fitted to carbon and ply mounts and a air ram to open and shut.
Lastly a lot of faffing with perma-grit blocks and files to get a perfect fit with equal gaps all round.
