Ok guy's
I will rezize my build pics over the weekend and post up sunday. Also i am keeping an eye on how long this build is taking me in man hours and so far i have spent 100 hours  Quite a chunk of the time was transferring the plan parts to balsa and ply and cutting out to make a kit of parts.
The cost of balsa/light ply/birch ply/spruce is around the £200 mark but hopefully this should be enough to complete the basic airframe. It just goes to show why artf models are not built in the uk as a modest hourly rate of say £30x100= £3,000 and i am a fast builder.

Stay tuned

Pete - Just been looking on the BMFA Classified website & a guy has just put on a full length
WW2 scale pilot with no flying experience, may be suitable for your Hurricane.
Great project look forward to following the build thread.
Regards

The fus keel and spine were made up and glued to former 4 and the lower formers glued, tail plane supports also added.
A center datum line was drawn on the building board, the formers were marked with a center line and then fus pinned down over the center line. The stern post was jigged up to keep it plumb. This is the most critical part of the fus build as there are a total of 50 stringers to be added and it would be very easy to build in mistakes.
I numbered each former 1-25 each side and started to cut and fit the stringers in pairs starting from the top and glued in place with med cyano and kicker as i wanted an instant bond ,checking all the time that every thing was nice and straight and plumb.Once all the stringers were in i gave the fus a tidy up with the razor plane and a quick sand down.
Will post up pic's shortly
