I have photos of all the main stages plus written some ENGLISH statements against all the main stages because i think some group build members have NEVER built a kit and may find the whole process a bit daunting.

Excellent Kevin! :woohoo:

Yes, an article on the build will be useful for reference or for new builders wanting to try their hand at kits in the future.

Servo installation

Dry run carried out using my servos (size 11.5 x 23.5) which looks like the max size without protruding the airfoil surface.

Did he leave mine too? I thought that was the arrangement, otherwise I'll make a trip to Verwood tomorrow to collect it, I can't wait 'till after Boxing Day to get started, I'm getting left behind!

David

You obviously haven't read my text :)

Of course I have yours to, how could I forget you! I only posted about Chris as I don't have his number.

Just completed both wing structures so have the following recommendation -

Its essential to widen / ease all the gaps in the L/E to allow the ribs to slide fully home using a narrow 1.5mm wide warding file (failing that, double up a couple of the wife's emery boards - unless you have your own !!)
If you don't, the leading edge will move forward and drag the rest of the wing ribs inboard with it. In retrospect i should have eased these gaps a bit more aggressively as this would made the construction easier. (at least iv'e repeated this minor discrepancy on both panels !! )
