Finished gluing, once I've unstuck my fingers need to do some sanding now then try to cover the ruddy thing? Any tips on covering?

Buy, or borrow, a covering iron. Yes, you can cover with a household iron but it's much easier with the right tool.

Buy a covering iron! Clear wrinkles in ARFs and reseal edges. Cheap and useful all round. I don't know what I would without one now. AND not too heavy if you get it thrown at your head... :lol:
