A few quick flights with the Impressivo this afternoon. Managed to hit 130mph.

Mike - Is that a speed record for Cashmoor ?
Could be an interesting challenge for the Jet & D.F guys.

Not sure if it's a record, but it is possibly the fasted recorded at Cashmoor

It's an app for my phone. It measures doppler shift. A couple of seconds after the fly-past, it announces your speed, so you know how your doing each pass. The only trouble is I can't get the proper version (£1.20) to load and this one will cease after a 7-day trial. Perhaps some others can see if they can get it to work on their androidor iphones.

I think the problem I'm having is that I can't pay the £1.20 because it directs me to google wallet...and I'm not sure if google wallet works in the UK!

Not sure if it works for EDFs, and according to others, it doesn't work on turbines.

Thought this thread needed a kickstart, been very quiet lately.

Managed to spend a few hours on mine today, all structural repairs done and recover proceeding well, I ended up virtually stripping it all off as it would have looked a bit patched up if I hadn't, so it will soon be as good as new, but with proper hinges and more substantial linkages.
