I used a pen that is designed for sealing the edges of graphics, I only sealed the front edge of the point as that will be in the airflow

Did you seal down the edges of the film after covering, if so what did you use? I've used a Solar Film product called Clearcoat on my glow models in the past which has worked ok but haven't used anything on the Gas models.

That's not true I've used it on my little Extra - it works ok !
