Thanks Pete, I think this little glider was designed by someone on a computer where everything is perfect, unlike real life!

I've just done the hinges, I'll be taking out shares in Sellotape shortly :)

Most/all models have those frustrating moments when you're building them. The size of this model creates a few more frustrating moments than it should. But it looks great now and you'll forget about all those hours wasted once you're flying it.

Having seen your "Christmas Story", all I'd say is "if the cap fits..."

MikeSeale wrote: ...A solution would be to use very short elevator horns, but I had already cut them to 8mm and decided that even shorter would not be acceptable because:
1. Shorter horns would give limited 'grip' for the heatshrink and
2. Shorter horns would result in MORE elevator movement than needed and I would have to dial down the throw using travel limits, and this would reduce my resolution

So the elevators were removed and a couple of mm cut from the ends in order to increase the gap. With hindsight, only 1mm was needed

Hi Mike, did you settle on 8mm horns for both elevator and ailerons? And will you do the same on the Acro, or maybe go longer on the ailerons?
