Decided to cut the hatch in the nose to see what I am up against.Got rid of the sand and cement ballast and some dodgy woodwork.We now have a nice area to get everything up front and easy to get to.

Pete - Great work and so impressed by your work rate.
From the type of ballast used combined with the paint thickness I'm drawn to the conclusion that the original
builder of the model was a Plasterer by trade.

You could be correct Colin!! The paint on the venom is thicker than the underseal on my landrover :S

Great stuff mate. The big old nose access hatch is great to see. Is there room for two levels?
