I can't do anything with the cowl or the canopy until I can browse in Halfords to see what colours they have. So the model is now 'complete'. Also pictured against the Atlas to show how much bigger it is.

I've used RC Colours spray paint to good effect on cowls in the past., available from RCworld, they're a good match for profilm colours B)

Thank, Alan. I've used RC Colours in the past too. Not only are they a good match for Profilm, but they stick to it too. But I won't be using them since I have not used Profilm! I also did not like how long it took for the paint to fully harden...several days before it lost that 'tacky' feeling.

I tried RC colours for the Pepsi cowl for Oracover dark blue (52) The paint actually was more mauve. I spoke to Pete Chilver about it and he said it was the luck of the draw if it matched. He had come across this issue before with his projects. Hence my using Halfords, although okay for electric and petrol models. Glow is the devil though. Sorry for deviating momentarily
