There's some good info in the thread. My German is non-existant, so I whacked it through google.

Machine translation never will be perfect but you get the general gist of the build.

However, it appears from the final text and the resultant damage that you should not fly it in Summer but only when it is cold preferably with snow on the ground.

I just realised, Jon, that with all the excitement of a trip to Tesco, I hadn't confirmed that you can collect on your way home one day. Or you can wait until the weather improves and we meet at Cashmoor. You decide.

Mike

No hurry at the moment, I will wait and hope I see you at Cashmoor sometime soon, if that fails, I will collect, thanks.

Phil, that's yours nearly finished then!

I see you slacked off there, Phil, and didn't bother getting the covering on today!!

I see in the instructions that you can go for the servo exits on top of the wing or underneath and see you've gone 'down under'. I think I'll do the same but wondered if there is a reason for this other than personal preference.

Also, now you've got it nearly finished, is there enough room for 12mm servos. The original uses 9mm servos which don't come cheap. I'm wondering if putting the servos underneath will allow for a small bulge which is a small price to pay compared to £20-£25 for a decent 9mm servo.

I never said it was mine. Just a picture I found on the web. B)

I'm still in thinking mode. Going to be a bit quick isn't it?

Mike, the 9mm servo recommended is £29. (23 Euro from Hollein) Bit rich for me but it is digital, double ball raced with carbon gears. Gewicht und Abmessungen: 9g, 23x9x29mm (LxBxH)

From the plan, looks like 12 mm ones will be too big. What would be a good choice to match the size above?

Props. Did not order any. Thought I'd wait and see what everyone else fitted. Could we use a folding one, being at the back and all?
