I thought I had been so organised, getting the workbench clear ready for the build, then today I get offered the chance to do a kit review for RCMW of the Prettner Curare ARTF, proper retro F3A, what a bummer, what should I do?? :)

I should get your Dad to build two, that should do the trick.

You may have to let him have a go on the Curare though by way of compensation.

Cool. I must admit to lurking on the RCGroups 'classic pattern' forum and am quite excited that this style of model is making a return. Makes a nice change to the Extra / Edge / Yak style of aerobatic model and I think it suits my flying style and skill level more. But in answer to your question, surely you can complete the ARTF this week and still have a clear workbench when the Impressivo arrives.

BTW, I think I got an email confirming that they are now in stock and ready for shipping. Hopefully they'll be here soon.

Have you got room on the kitchen table for 2?

Thanks for the offer, we can discuss :) Hopefully I can manage both though before next summer is over!

You are welcome to have a play when it is done Mike, in case you want one of your own. You would have to put up with the fact it will be noisy and smelly though, as part of the deal is I have to use a piped 2 stroke also supplied, you might find this too offensive ;)

I've read the review elsewhere and it says you can swap the ic and electric motors easily because they use the same bolt spacing. I'd have a word with your supplier and ask for the electric motor too, in order to test this feature!

I'll certainly take you up on your offer for a go on the sticks since I would be interested in the electric version a lot more than any of the 'modern' F3A models.

Doooo it Dave!!

Mike, they are already giving me the kit, retracts and engine/pipe, think I might be pushing it asking for the electric bits as well :(

Sorry for getting off topic Phil
