John, I'm curious, what plane will you be flying? Not the spare you're keeping for me? And nice to see that Jason has persuaded you to try F3a again, doesn't this happen every year and then you remember you like flying fast planes :P

Jet Dude wrote: I suggest that this would suit you better than IMAC as your models are not IMAC compliant but totally F3A suited.

I'm not looking to compete, so I was just looking for a simple scheduled that would be a challenge, but hopefully doable. I feel the F3a intermediate is so beyond my skill level that I'd never be able to cope, I'd fall to pieces and quiver quietly in the corner... and that's even before contemplating competing, I've heard the stories of stronger men than me loose it as soon as the competition starts, even Chris73 said he had a twinge of nerves before his 1st comp ;) But saying all that, I really love the F3a flying so I want to learn how to fly like that.

When is the Beaulieu date, I'd love to go and watch it.

All the best, Gromit

Apparently so Dave, it can happen to anyone... ;)

I've just been reading the Take off & Landing judging for F3a, I'd loose loads of points if my current 'style' isn't improved upon.

John, I've printed off the intermediate scheduled, and I'm getting nervous about all the manoeuvres that start with "Push" I prefer the ones that have lots of 'Pull' in them. :(

I've just seen in the BMFA mag that you don't need a B certificate to compete at Clubman level... you do however need an A certificate.

Weren't we supposed to have a rash or War Birds, JRI's Mig 3, Chris' Focke Wulf, Simon's P47 Razorback, have I missed anyone out? I think I've only seen Simon's fly, what happened to the rest?
