Despite advise to the contrary in this thread - the old adage "buy cheap, buy twice" in this case does apply. You have a quality model so the Hacker motor and ESC, JR, Futaba, or Savox servos and APC propeller setup as recommended by Sebart really does work the best.
In my opinion beef up the undergear mounting points with some extra ply and abandon the spats and wing fences. And as Chris mentioned buy some glass/carbon plate and make at least 50% longer horns to slot into the tail planes and rudder. This will give you much better servo resolution and save wasting most of your servo movement and cutting into the wing in order to attach the clevises.

All of the above except this

'abandon the spats'

Just look so much better with them on, worth the minor extra agro in my opinion :)
