I would go with a twin, but agree that a 40 may not be up to scratch. Try this one, it is really small...

Thank you all for your input. I thought the 40 was little small but would've fitted neatly inside the cowl. The 55 is popular and as been previously said, it's easy to fit and a good all rounder. Exhaust muffler is bog admittedly so may have find a better version to fit behind the motor. There is no provision for a canister in this model.

DLE55RA it will be then.... :)

Jon, I am copying the RADIO SET UP over to a new thread so those who may follow later can use it for reference including me....

Phil

If it is of interest there is a DLE 55 just come up for sale on the High Alpha website, just under 5 gallons through it and fitted with Bowmans rings, £170 plus postage. It is being sold by one of the IMAC guys who I know fairly well and know he looks after his stuff.

:cheer: Jon, I have had a look but it is the side exhaust version. Which means in my case fitting a side muffler of some description. Also, HA have been under attack by spammers so joining their Forum is a bit restricted at present.

Jon, I have sent you a PM...

Tank tray cut out to fit between ribs and slotted for tank straps. Radio gear installed, stabilisers fitted, rudder pull pull done, the latter a fiddle-ass job....

Cannot do much more until an engine is located and some wheels / axles turn up. For spats I am using Beast 100CC. And they were only £22 a pair. Repaint needed to suit.
