Thanks Simon, There's a bit more work to do to finish it off and it looks like my building accuracy needs a bit of attention but overall I'm dead chuffed.

Thanks for the info - one site (can't rememeber which) seemed to have the right cowl but turned out to be for the GP 40 size arf. There's a US site that does cowls and spats but the postage is prohibitive. Funnily enough I've been looking at FreeCAD software with a view to creating a 3d model of the cowl and printing out some xsection formers to create a foam plug - don't know whether it's do-able yet.

Thanks Jon, the day certainly brought a smile to my face. I'm just hoping I can keep it in one piece for a while!

Excellent, sounds like it well really well, good on ya. Looking forward to seeing her in the air. I have some some blue foam well orange actually but I think it's what you might be after. Give me a shout if you decide to give it a go rather than purchasing one.

Thanks Tom, I'm definitely going to give the cowl a go - I've got to go to B&Q anyway so I'll look at what they've got. If that fails then I'd like to take up your offer.
