What's this millennia? Some kind of new fangled measuring stick? I have a yard stick and a 3 ft folding boxwood rule.

Phil... If I knew how to help you, I [strike]probably[/strike] possibly would, but I just don't know how to help you work in 1/25.4" of an inch.

The best advice I can offer is to go with Mike's TLAR, lets face it, in the air no one is going to notice a small discrepancy of a few inches. By the way, have you ordered my pins yet, that's my subtle way of asking... have you got yer WOOD yet? :woohoo:

Is this a Round Tuit?

I had a scary incident with mine, 2/3 fell off

Thanks Mike,

It was a but unnerving hacking into a section that was other wise perfectly good, but without doing it I had entombed my motor for life! I copied you and did a 1/3 - 2/3 split.

Have you had a chance to make any progress?

TLAR I think stands for That Looks About Right.

Ahh....that makes sense then, the f3a model I design and built in the 90's was done with exactly that design philosophy :)

On the basis you both made the same mistake, there are probably loads of other Atlas' all over the world the same as yours!

Do you have a photo of this plane?

Hi Chris, found these, my first full 2m model with YS140 4 stroke. My one and only scratch built own design, can't imagine being able to find the time to do that now :(

I used it to make the team and it was my reserve model for the 1999 World Champs in Florida

Hi Jon, thanks for digging out the photos, that plane looks great, and you even got your name in a magazine ;)

Wow, been doing your research then Chris :)

If I'd had a pound for everytime I've been in a magazine....... ;)

Good site that, all the f3a results from 1960 to present

Found this on there as well from my first one, 1993 :)
