Blimey, 7 pages already and only two build images so far. Getting nearly as bad as RC Groups where it takes 122 pages to open an ARF box

Although I am not builder I like to follow the builds with interest anyway. Whiles away the wet n windy days..... :P

Or to put it another way...

Well done John. Looking good so far. I'm not sure it needs the aluminium bar. I'm hoping it is just a jig tool to make sure the formers line up and that you'll remove it once its all framed up.

Certainly hope it is a jig or you are going to struggle getting servos and a tank or battery in there :)

Good to see some building at last, is that 4 being built now?

Well done John, looks like you've got a head start on the rest of us, that is unless Phil or Steve have been quietly cracking on with theirs, they've both gone a bit quiet as of late

Jon, as far as I know there are now five of us Atlas builders... are you tempted? Soon there will be more pattern planes on the field on a Saturday morning than Wot 4's.

Hi Chris

I would have liked to, yes but I've already got too many projects to do. I do like a proper build, just need to get everything else done first!

I've got a few friends, I know hard to believe, that are interested in my Atlas project, so rather than putting stuff up here and send them an email update I've decided to create a blog of my progress. This will prevent me cluttering up this section with a load of boring photos and such like. I figure I can just post links to the blog as and when there's anything new, and ask the serious modeling questions here. The blog is semi under way: scratchbuild.wordpress.com/ in the mean time, here are two pics for you all, because as hard as it is to believe I've actually made a start
