I just took another look at post 2 to refresh my memory and saw Mike's note re my building board, for the record our kitchen table is 6ft 6" by 3ft, I think that should do, it's only the consent for change of use that I lack!

I agree with Kevin and Jon that a cheap power system is desirable. In fact, I've done a little more research on the power setup and found an outrunner that could also work well according to the reviews.

Turnigy 2836-3200

Benefit over the inrunner is less weight at only 72g compared to 109g. Disadvantage is it only has a 3.17mm shaft (but the bearings are 4mm i/d, so if it bends you can replace it with a 4mm shaft). Also, having less thermal mass it might run hotter. But, there's only one way to find out so I've ordered both and will run some tests to find out whether one is better than the other.

Both motors have a kV or 3200rpm/v so should perform similarly. Reviews indicate that pylon props (5x5 for example) are turning at over 20,000 rpm on 3s. Some guys are running these motors on 4s and quote 38,000 rpm, so there's room for an upgrade in performance later if you feel the need

You're on the list, Dave. That's a possible nine so far.

And a big number on one of the wings for the colour blind, and as for Mike's unkind repost I suggest sky colour for his.
