Wimborne MAC Annual Memorial Fun Day 2026. Highlights of the event. Six hours compressed into 26 mins. A warm sunny day with a slight cross wind which gusted up at various times. Field grass yellow after repeated heat waves and no rain. Fortunately the runway still stands out from the field. Virtually a full house for this event with some vehicles in the over flow car park. An excellent day was agreed by all there. Highlights of the day include the P51D Mustang, Corsair, FW190. Aerobatics and EDF Jet flights. Again we had the chuck glider fun comp which enabled everyone regardless of their flying capability to join in. More laughter rather than actual flight. No guarantee where they will land....
