Alan, just seen these www.t9hobbysport.com/frsky-archer-r10-pro-access-receiver At last more primary channels 10, in fact. They do an 8 as well. Might try one in my Pilot RC Extra 300.

Thanks for that Phil, I'll take a look. I've finally managed to get a firmware matching set such that I can run access for an RXR and D16 for an S6R RX using the same version of OpenTX ( I suspect that I could also run FrOS now as well and I might give that a go at some point). Adding Archer will doubtless add more fun.
