Had a few hours on the provost today. I have cut out new ribs to the correct size, ready to make the new control surfaces over the weekend, need to pop down to Sussex models first to get some 1/16 balsa so I can sheet them.
Hopefully by next Monday I will be back on track so I can do the final assembly, tweaking and think about firing up the covering iron

Bit more done today, built the new flaps and ailerons ready for trial fitting tomorrow. Marked out the firewall for the engine standoffs and used a 40mm hole saw to cut a hole to make room for the carb. The airframe is getting pretty close now to a stage where I'm happy with everything before I start to cover with solartex.
I will not get too much done tomorrow as I have my grandson comming round, but will get some pics up loaded Monday afternoon

"need to pop down to Sussex models" You mean they are local to you Pete????

Looking good Pete, hopefully no more set backs. Some final sanding / smoothing and start covering then you are on the homeward run... :)

I have moved to Emsworth to be nearer my family, so Sussex models is not far from me B)
