Thanks Phil it has been a pleasure to build.
AS with any scratch building you will always have a few problems to overcome, but it makes it interesting.
It's been an intensive build and i am very very pleased with the end result and I'm sure Frank will be too.
It won't be long now till I hand over the model to Frank so that he can work his magic on the canopy and cowl.

P.S he's going to need load's of magic as it is no easy task

Started the final assembly this afternoon, bolted on the wing so the tailplane and fin could be aligned and then once happy both were glued in place with pva.

Rudder base fitted, wet rolled some balsa around some waste pipe and left to dry.Once dry enough I scribed in and glued in place.Rear of fuselage marked out and shaped,elevators taped in position and bottom sheeting between the elevator glued in place.Top sheeting is left off until I speak with Frank regarding pushrods. Everything given a sand nearly done
