I'v been looking on tinternet at the various mk's of hurricane,to try and find something a little different to the norm.I think i have settled with a MK 11C (BE581) from No 1
squadron Redhill May, 1942 which was used for night intruder missions over the continent.
It was one of the first to be painted in night fighter camouflage schemes with the underside painted black with no roundels,with the aircraft codes painted in red,and the pilot's personal insignia (the "Night Reaper") on the right hand side of the cowl. B)

Looks like a fun build , thanks for sharing. Are you going make a fiber glass cowl for this? If so, I have some tips for you ;)

Incidentally, RCM&E forums shows an example of creating canopy rails here if it's of any use..

Hurricane looks really good so far . Be nice to see a large warbird flying regularly at cashmoor. Did you consider basing yours on James Nicolsons 249 squadron Hurricane in which he became fighter commands only VC of the whole war ?
