Chris, it's getting too technical. Just put it together the best you can and fly it. It ain't rocket science!

Everyone will be flying theirs soon and you 'll still be tuning yours to F#

Hi Mike, did you have to drill holes in F1 on the Blue Angel to allow access the motor mount bolts?

I did a quick sketch of what I'm thinking:

Yes. I only drilled them after mounting the motor on F2 and building the nose blocks to fill up to F1. Then realised I couldn't get the motor out and drilled the holes. Much easier to do it first.

C'mon Chris, all this fannying about with design concept drawings and peripheral shenanigans, when are you actually gonna glue something?

Alas, the wood elves has been elusive, otherwise I would have been admiring the wood this weekend. You see before you build anything you have to have the admiration of the wood phase, then comes the careful analysis of celestial bodies to ensure it is a auspicious time to embark on this endeavour. Mike once accused me of procrastinating... I was deeply hurt by the suggestion, and have no idea why he would suggest such a thing

Once the build is underway I'll try and adhere to the strict two thirds rule, 1/3 doing, 2/3 standing back thinking about it.

Anyway Alan, I have not been idle: wimbornemac.org/forum/propellor-club/721-helipad#6892

It's true a lack of wood has stalled many a "project". However, sitting crossed legged in a tepee waiting for the right 'vibe' is not going to get this thing done!

Alan, stalled no longer, we can now officially enter the 'Appreciation of the wood' phase.

All the wood that I ordered is present and correct, although I might have miss ordered
