This is my first build, so my covering skills are none existent, I'm hoping when the time comes I'll be able to get some advice, not just on technique but also design. With there being so many Atlas's being built, an original bright colour scheme might be prudent :whistle: and having flown Mike's Blue Angel, I know I'll need the bottom to look different from the top

Early days yet Chris I know, but as your woodwork is clearly going to be of a very high quality, how about one of these retro type clear/colour covering jobs, generally popular at an earlier time than the Atlas' vintage, but could look very nice? You can get clear profilm/ Oracover and with an electric set up you wouldn't have to worry about oil getting under it and spoiling the look!

Changing the subject but only a bit, the December issue of RC Model World features a Terry Westrop designed electric Loaded Dice. Not "full size" at 1200 mm span but certainly another candidate for the old timer squadron. A nice little project, all built up, 15 quid for the plan plus another 10 for the canopy.

Who will be first with this one?
