Looks like yours was built properly Pete!! I would like to do that with the booms on Dave's venom but there is too much internal damage :(

Peter/Dave,

See the pics of my Venom nose, which I think was modded to get access to the turbine mounted really far forward to help resolve the C of G issue this model is known for. Having had a good look inside the booms on mine the formers appear to be laser cut with plenty of lightening holes to get the servo leads through, unlike the solid formers on Dave's model.

Inner wing sheeted!!The belly of the Venom took a hard impact and in a few areas the f/g has cracked which will be repaired from the inside.
The right u/c leg has been ripped out of its mount so that will need some surgery. The biggest challenge on the rebuild is going to be the booms which I have left to last and will tackle that on Friday.Tomorrow I will give the wings a light sand and trial fit back on the tubes and cut out the nose hatch and get rid of the sand and cement nose ballast.

Pete, I think you have must have the patience of a Saint sorting out all that damage or do you just like puzzles? ;)
