Time for the booms,fair bit of internal damage.The plan is to cut some new formers for the booms and glue a phenolic tube inside.The booms will slide on the tubes epoxied in place.The formers will be solid with just one hole for the servo wires as I need to get max strength.

Formers cut and will be fitted in the booms with f/ g resin and will finish that tonight.Tomorrow fit the booms and the venom is back together.

Are you making the booms removable Pete, would be relatively easy as you are installing the phenolic tubes?

No Jon, the tubes are not matched pairs and have a little play but that will be taken up when they are epoxied in.

Unbelievable work rate - but aren't you worried that the Bicycle you seem to have glued to the tail might affect the C.of.G ? ;)
