I was hoping to rig the provost today and take some final picture's but it's been too windy and did not want to damage her so i will do my final post write up and hopefully pic's tomorrow.
I thought it might be good to mention about radio set up for those members who are thinking about moving up in scale. On the provost it has 7 high voltage digital servos on the surfaces and standard on throttle.
To supply the high current draw to the servo's a standard RX is not suitable so we have to use either a powerbox or a powersafe Rx.In the provost i have gone for a 9 channel Spectrum unit as it can distribute a constant voltage to the servo's,uses 2 x2s life 2300 mah batts and a soft switch which fails to on.I have used 3 satts and one of which is in the tail so we should have good range in any position.
After spending 100's of hours building the provost and Frank's large investment this is a pretty bullet proof set up .All servos use alloy horns with 3mm ball links and push rods are 3mm stud bar stiffened up with a carbon sleeve.

Fantastic job, look forward to seeing pics of her in primer finish.
Any chance you can let us know when the maiden flight will be once Frank has finished his bit ?
I'm sure many who have followed the build would make the journey to Cashmoor to she her in the flesh
and witness the maiden flight.
Thanks

Virtually bullet proof Pete! I went down the HV servo route too on the CAP using HS5685MH (13kg torque) the Spektrum 9ch, three sats with integral power box. Very conveniently priced units now.

I am looking forward to the Provost's maiden, got video camera on standby. So between you and Frank keep us updated. :)
