its 73" span - I dare not calculate the wing loading ! - A saving grace may be that the root cord depth is 3" so it should generate good lift
Pneumatic retracts by YT Stock exhaust with silicone extensions to exit the cowl below
Think my first task is to rework the nose weight as per your MIG and hopefully reduce AUW
Q1 On your DLE 35 What- prop for pre & post running in.
Q2 what exhaust are you using.

Hi Kevin, my MiG.3 is running a 3W 55with a Krumscheid tuned pipe, The Sbach has an OS33 GT with standard pipe amd an 18x10 APC

Ive already said this model is heavy so In order to reduce the total I've optimised ballast by configuring it in a MS / PB / MS "bagel" on outriggers from the engine mounts. Just need some longer HT bolts to bring the bagel directly behind the cowl.

Kevin - Interesting solution but would it not be simpler to epoxy a cast lead billet into the front of the cowl ?
What size & length of socket screws do you need - I'll have a look in my stock, worked for many years in
the fastener industry. ?
