Got a bit done tonight, run the iron over everything, CA everything I could get to, fuel proofed the landing gear plate, hinged the elevators and rudder. While the epoxy was drying I plumbed and fitted the fuel tank and then went back and epoxied on the control horns to the elevators

I like the colour scheme.

Was the CA added as a precaution or were there signs of a lack glue. I know it's not the same quality as the EF but my Giles had one wing tube largely un-attached at the root and on trial fitting the stabs on the Edge the anti-rotation pins disappeared into the stab root. They're going to be a b*st*rd to get back out :(

Have you decided on engine and servos yet?

The CA was just added as a precaution, everything seemed to be well glued but Extreme Flight recommend you do this, just in case

Engine will be 3W110 with MTW tuned pipes, servos are Savox 1270TG

Ailerons now hinged, servo's fitted to the stabs and the landing gear mounted.
Tomorrow's jobs
1) Install the servos in the wings and make up the leads
2) Fit engine and exhausts
3) Start making the extension leads for the elevators and rudder

I will take some more pics tomorrow when I start making the leads

Sounds like you are making good progress Chris, will the MTW tuned pipes help with your lack of power at take off? I'm assuming you've gone with your original plan and pulled the servos and engine out of the Yak?
