I'm happy with the fit out, so it can come back out and the tanks plumbed together and the heat shield paint sprayed on the bypass. I'm hoping for a warmer day next week so that I can spray the inside of the flaps, gear doors, speed brakes etc and the red on the nose.
The last Jobs to do before the radio and air systems installation is to make up and fit the three cannons on the underside of the nose, paint and glue the cockpit tub parts, canopy fixings and finally the cockpit glazing.
Couple of pictures to show the parts. L

Cracking stuff Pete. :)

A lot of work though just so John can become a Communist minion.

Glad to see I am not the only one with the sense to stay indoors when it's just above freezing.

I had to staple my twitching "buy now" finger to my desk - it was a close call B)

That does look like a bargain! It is an F86 Sabre though, not the Super Sabre. Not much detail there but looks like the smaller one, probably similar size to your Mig. Someone needs to buy it!!

It might well be me seeing as you tight-a***s aren't interested. It's an early model but only 4 years on the clock and with a gas start P.70 which I can convert to kero for about £120. Seriously expensive model with full BVM carbon and retracts - probably £5K worth with the only question being the JC P70 which is at bearing replacement hours (but then again my boomer P.80 just goes on forever with the original bearings!)

John's comments are ambiguous. Has he gone and done it - click, click? Or is he still hovering, hoping some other member will snap it up? ;)
