John, Motabitz in Ferndown used to make up car paint aerosols. Might be worth giving them a ring. When I had my red Jaguar the garage had some custom touch up pens made up for me. I'll see if I can find out where from.

Your MIG "blue" looks a bit like duck-egg blue. Strange colour but I thought that maybe the new Fiat 500 was close.

Morning Guys
In the picture the grey twin pipe is the front intake, which connects to the the black turbine bypass and then the stainless twin wall tail pipe.
The tanks are in position ready to be connected up, more pics as I go along

BVM are unable to supply the paints (due to customs restrictions) or colour codes, and I have not found a standard car paint which is a close enough match to either colour. B&Q and other diy shops claim to be able to match colours but they obviously supply emulsion and water based wood paints mainly. So does anyone have a lead on a source of paint matching in small quantities for hobbyists or maybe car repairs?

I have tried Motabitz and Halfords before, they both do paint matching but they need a colour reference code, they can't do it from a sample. There are companies who can scan colours but I haven't managed to find one locally yet.

Someone recently posted about this company, think it might have been Colin A, but I haven't tried contacting them myself.

Turbine by-pass cradle doublers made up and glued in position after using a needle file on the fuzz formers to clear the screw heads. Front intake added so I can get the exact position of the by-pass so I can drill the 4x fixing holes into the ply blocks on the cradle.
Even though the carbon by-pass is made from high temperature epoxy/carbon cloth the heat generated from a turbine can reach around 650c so it will have three coats of high temperature paint.
