Had a bit of spate time so I thought I would mark out the under side of inner wings for the flaps and wheel Bay.Most of rib no 3 will be removed in the wheel Bay area,so to put back some strength the underside sheeting will have some glass cloth and z-poxy

Also taped down some brown paper to the bench and marked out for the formers, and the six crutch supports which are screwed down to the bench

Fuselage crutch supports made up with centre lines marked ready to be screwed to the bench.
Everything will become clearer once I have made the crutch and formers in place.
Going to meet David later to pick up all the wood etc.

Made a start on the fuselage crutch. Picture shows the upper rear crutch constructed, front lower crutch will be built tomorrow and the two will be glued together with 4 spacer blocks.

OK then, front lower crutch built and joined.to.upper.Formers are slipped over the crutch and the assembly pinned to the supports.Formers 2 through to 12 are lined and leveled a tacked in place. The ply root rib has a centre line and it is very important that it is level with the board and tacked in place. turn the assembly around and do the same.Once I'm happy I will run pva over the joints and it's now.ready for the stringers.

Nice one Pete  That made me laugh from what so far has been a dull day peeling spuds and fixing rc stuff I bent yesterday...

I still think David should give it to me as I am going to have a new big van in the future to get big stuff up the field.
